Indesit Washing Machine Error Codes
Indesit washing machines use the same F-code table as Hotpoint (F01 to F18). Indesit’s UK error-code table and repair booking are on Indesit Service UK (indesitservice.co.uk), not on Hotpoint’s site.
Codes can vary by model
Check the model number on your washing machine’s rating label and your manual. We only list codes we’ve checked against Indesit guidance. For anything else, use Indesit UK support.
| Code | What it means | Severity |
|---|---|---|
| F05 | Indesit’s UK service page describes F05 as a waste pipe blockage or pump issue: the machine can’t pump the water away. | Check carefully |
| F06 | Indesit’s UK service page describes F06 as a door lock fault. | Check carefully |
| F08 | Indesit’s UK service page describes F08 as a heater fault. | Likely needs an engineer |
| F11 | Indesit’s UK service page describes F11 as a pump circuit fault: water stays in the machine and isn’t pumped out. | Likely needs an engineer |
