Samsung Washing Machine Error Codes

Newer Samsung models show codes ending in C (such as 4C) and older ones show the same fault ending in E (such as 4E). Samsung warns that 5 and S, and 3 and E, can look alike on the display, so check the code carefully.

Codes can vary by model

Check the model number on your washing machine’s rating label and your manual. We only list codes we’ve checked against Samsung guidance. For anything else, use Samsung UK support.
