AEG error codes and help

AEG washing machines group codes into families (E10, E20, E40 and so on), and models without a display signal the same fault with beeps or flashes. AEG asks you to note the full code before switching off, because a reset clears it. AEG dishwashers use i-codes such as i20.

Shared code families

AEG, Zanussi and Electrolux publish matching UK support articles for these code families. Each brand page cites its own brand’s article. AEG shares these codes with Zanussi.

Finding your model number

Many AEG codes depend on the model. The model and serial number are printed on the appliance’s rating label. Your manual shows exactly where it is. Have both ready before you contact AEG or an engineer.
